Okay, a lot of our customers do want us to keep coming back……..but that’s to do new projects for them, not to repair previous projects.
This is a project where the homeowner had another contractor who never finished the project, and what was finished was not good. The steps got wider as they went up and each of the risers was 8-10″ high………definitely a fall hazard! The retaining wall was too high and did not offer a lot of enhancement to the backyard area. Drainage around the house had to be completely redone. The front stoop was not level and was causing water to go into the house…….along with many other issues. We made the steps and wall more aesthetic and functional, repaired all the drainage issues, added sealer around the foundation, installed a new patio, demoed and replaced the front stoop, added a wall at the front steps, poured new concrete, and graded and reseeded the yard. This outdoor area is much more inviting now!
Here we were asked to clear out all of the areas where the landscaping had gone wild in preparation for new planting beds and patio area. Lots of ivy and tree stumps to take out, but there is now a nice blank canvas to create the new owners’ vision on.
